Chef Maria Yvette Winters celebrates her Congolese heritage through food and fashion. She founded Lumumba Revolution, a fashion brand embodying cultural pride, and Pili Pili de Congo (PPDC), a hot sauce brand rooted in tradition. Maria, once a child refugee, found a home in Los Angeles and will join Flavors From Afar in 2024, inspired by our mission of empowerment.
