How We Identify Chefs to Partner With

A Partnership That Keeps Giving

At Flavors From Afar, we have the privilege of partnering with chefs who are former refugees and asylum seekers, each bringing the beauty of their heritage to the table. These talented chefs are connected to us through the Tiyya Foundation, a nonprofit that uplifts refugees, immigrants, and displaced families through programs centered on economic advancement, family services, and community engagement. Many have found their voice through Tiyya’s initiatives, and we are honored to provide a space for them to share their culinary gifts. In this collaboration, we not only celebrate their artistry but also invite our community to experience the richness of global flavors, stories, and traditions that transcend borders.
